So not really sure if you care about this news.. but Nokia’s App rival store, Ovi Store has now officially launched everywhere. Announced back in Feburary, Nokia’s mobile application store offers a 70/30 revenue slit to developers and a lot of tasty apps to owners of over 50 different Nokia devices.
As far as the application selection goes, its currently a far cry from the iPhone app store, which is a bit sad since Symbian/Nokia has been around a lot longer then the iphone. But that is just the way the cookie crumbles. Symbian will still be the leading open mobile platform and the Ovi Store will prob attract a lot of interest from both users & developers.
Stores.. really? Well who knows we will see what happens.
